When at a museum or gallery, she likes to look at everything because each artwork has someone's life story behind it. She is moved by the mere fact that people make art.
"As an immigrant, I'm interested in storytelling through pictorial representations of the human experience with a main focus on how we interact and react to others as well as ourselves whilst navigating growth. I often work to convey emotions and individuality through colourful and textured digital illustrations. My illustration style is playful and adaptable to different scenarios such as publishing and commercial industries."
Art Tutor, Author & Illustrator
"I live in the Yorkshire Dales with my family and Moog the dog. As a child, drawing was my safe place, and this theme has been the constant and passionate thread throughout my life. I have a BA In Fine Art Painting, a qualification in Mental Health Problems and PGCERT Teaching in Higher Education. Apart from teaching art to adults, I also offer services in illustration. With a strong leaning towards Neurodiversity and mental health, my work is diversely metaphorical. I was shortlisted in the top 5 inaugural ‘Womankind’ Magazine Art and Illustration Awards in 2019, and have since been commissioned to illustrate for Oh Magazine (Issue 55), and featured in Dream Broad (Issue 4), in the USA. Under our common gravitational center, different works of art take shape, which may or may not contain brushstrokes of some of the numerous satellites and celestial bodies that orbit around this feverish and chaotic dance that still has a lot of fuel to burn.
